Freedom Village is North America’s Premier Home for Troubled Teens. The 150-acre campus is located just north of Watkins Glen in Western New York State. Freedom Village, founded in 1981 is an “intensive care ward” for America’s youth and is the largest home of its kind. Thousands of young people from across America, Canada, and around the world, once labeled “hopeless” and “unreachable,” have turned their lives around through this Christian based program.

Freedom Village is, at any given time, home to 150 to 200 young people, ages 14-21, who need and want help with various aspects of their lives. Many have been involved in drug and alcohol abuse, have attempted suicide, or lived in abusive home situations including physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Some have turned to lives of crime after their families and society abandoned them.

FREEDOM ACADEMY
Freedom Village offers an on-campus private school providing not only basic curriculum, but also offering students the opportunity to develop a variety of vocational skills. They have the opportunity to take part in activities and work in fields as diverse as television production, printing, carpentry, automotive, technology, music, sports, equestrian programs, and more. Freedom Academy has a successful track record with its sports programs in football, soccer, softball, volleyball, and basketball teams for boys and girls to compete interscholastically.

FREEDOM BIBLE COLLEGE
The on campus Bible College program trains tomorrows youth pastors, youth workers, evangelists and missionaries.

FREEDOM RANCH
A special program and facility adjacent to the main Freedom Village campus for men 21 and older.

An “on campus” residential program for pregnant girls.

FREEDOM VILLAGE CANADA
Freedom Village Canada is the Canadian administration arm of Freedom Village USA. The role of Freedom Village Canada is to support the overall vision to, as Pastor Brothers states; 'To get kids out of the cesspool, stop kids from getting into the cesspool, and to clean up the cesspool’. As primarily an administrative and fundraising branch, Freedom Village Canada is working to develop the ministry further to effectively meet the needs of teens in crisis.

OPERATION: MATTHEW 25
Through the efforts of Freedom Village and its partnering churches, Matthew 25 has been able to help approximately 1,500 families that receive food every week. We supply food through our own food pantry every Friday evening and Saturday morning to our local community. Throughout the week our truck goes out to pick up food and drinks from manufacturers in the N. Y., P. A., N. J., Maine, Conn, W. I. and N.E. areas. Every week we send a truck either to Buffalo, Brooklyn, Binghamton or Mexico N. Y. to deliver food to as many families as we can.

FREEDOM VILLAGE OUTREACHES
Victory Today Television and Victory Today Radio are daily programs which address current teen challenges. These heart warming and heart wrenching programs are produced at the Village and aired throughout America and Canada. Freedom Publications is an aggressive resource program featuring a variety of videos focusing on teen issues which are distributed worldwide for use in classrooms and church programs. Millions of copies of books, videos, cassette tapes, and literature have gone out from this “Haven of Hope,” literally around the world, carrying the message of hope in Jesus Christ.
The 1-800-VICTORY (800-842-8679) international telephone hotline has meant the difference between life and death to countless thousands of young people. Since 1981, millions of young people have trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior through the ministries of Freedom Village.
Save America’s Youth and Save Canada’s Youth public school outreach, is made up of three teams of teenagers from Freedom Village who, through the transforming power of Jesus Christ, have changed their lives and now have a burden for the teenagers across the United States and Canada. The teams conduct school assemblies, where they share with the students their personal testimonies of the path they took that led to destruction, and the importance of knowing that the choices they make today will affect them for the rest of their life!
The Victory Singers, Sounds of Freedom, and New Life,talented young recording artists from the program, travel across America and Canada into churches, sharing  their personal stories of tragedy and triumph. When they speak, hearts are softened; when they sing, souls are touched.
Psychiatric ward and Jail Ministry. Many decisions are made for Christ each week as a result of outreach services conducted by Freedom Village staff.
The Hispanic Outreach is addressing the needs and problems in North America’s Hispanic teenagers.
 
THE HORSE PROGRAM
Every young person is taught horsemanship and required to take at least one short trail ride. Fear of the unknown often keeps a young person from attempting to do something outside their realm of experience. It is required that they participate in this program, whether they continue or not, is often the catalyst in finding new skills and talents. The young men and women are also given the opportunity to work in the barns, learning about and bonding with the horses. This teaches work ethic and responsibility. There are many stories to tell about how a horse has made the difference in a teen’s life.

One of the goals of the program is to instill the meaning of character into young people. An emphasis is placed on traditional moral values, coupled with honesty, integrity and the true meaning of hard work. By maintaining it’s own farm in addition to the horse program, Freedom Village provides ample opportunity for teaching these traits.

OPERATION MERCY
A missionary outreach to the orphans of the Ukraine. Freedom Village presently cares for over 1000 orphans in several orphanages in the Ukraine.

HOW IS FREEDOM VILLAGE FUNDED
Freedom Village is supported solely by the contributions of private citizens, churches, small businesses, and corporate donations. Gifts to Freedom Village are tax deductible as allowed by law under IRS section 501(c) 3. Freedom Village receives no state or federal funding. Residents of Freedom Village and their families contribute if able. The goal of the Village is to give every young person an equal opportunity to achieve despite their financial status.
